These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Homeflow AI, including our websites, apps, AI features, household management tools, integrations, and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account, accepting an invitation, connecting an integration, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Household administrators control household setup, user invitations, role permissions, connected accounts, child and caregiver information, house rules, payroll-related settings, emergency contacts, Google links, photos, documents, and other household data. Administrators are responsible for obtaining all permissions, consents, and authorizations required to enter, store, share, or process information about family members, children, caregivers, schools, contacts, guests, and third parties.
Homeflow is a coordination and information-management tool. It is not a provider of childcare, medical care, emergency services, legal advice, employment advice, tax advice, payroll services, accounting services, financial advice, insurance, background checks, safety monitoring, or professional decision-making. You are solely responsible for decisions made using the Service.
AI features may summarize, search, suggest, draft, classify, extract, analyze, or generate responses using information available in the Service and connected accounts. AI outputs may be wrong, incomplete, outdated, biased, unsafe, or unsuitable for your situation.
You must independently review AI outputs before using, sending, acting on, or relying on them. You may not rely on AI outputs as the sole basis for child safety decisions, emergency decisions, medical decisions, employment decisions, discipline decisions, payroll decisions, legal decisions, or financial decisions. AI is a convenience tool, not an authority.
You are responsible for prompts, uploaded content, instructions, actions you confirm, and any use of AI-generated output. We do not guarantee that AI output will be accurate, available, legally compliant, confidential in every circumstance, or free from harmful or offensive content.
Any SOS, emergency contact, notification, escalation, or alert feature is an internal household communication aid only. Homeflow is not a 911 service, emergency dispatch system, medical alert service, security system, or child safety monitoring service. In an emergency, call local emergency services immediately. We are not responsible for failed, delayed, misdirected, unread, blocked, filtered, inaccurate, or unavailable alerts, messages, emails, or notifications.
SMS features are optional and must be explicitly enabled where offered. Users provide a phone number in Homeflow Settings, verify phone ownership with a Twilio Verify code, and turn SMS notifications on before opted-in operational household notifications can be sent. SMS notifications default to off.
Message frequency varies by household setup and user actions. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, START to resume, and HELP for help. Homeflow SMS is not a marketing program and is not a 911, emergency dispatch, medical alert, security, or child safety monitoring service. See our SMS Consent and Messaging Terms.
Payroll, time tracking, reimbursement, mileage, vacation, sick time, on-call, and expense features are recordkeeping and planning tools only. Homeflow is not a payroll processor, employer of record, tax advisor, accountant, benefits administrator, or legal advisor. Household administrators are solely responsible for wage compliance, tax withholding, overtime, employment classification, record retention, reimbursement rules, approvals, payments, disputes, and compliance with all applicable employment laws.
You retain ownership of information, photos, documents, prompts, messages, and other content you submit to the Service ("User Content"). You grant Homeflow a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, transmit, display, modify for formatting, analyze, and use User Content as needed to provide, secure, improve, troubleshoot, and support the Service.
You represent that you have all rights, permissions, and consents necessary to submit User Content and allow us to process it. You are responsible for the legality, accuracy, and appropriateness of User Content.
You agree not to:
The Service may integrate with third-party services such as Google, OpenAI, Supabase, email providers, Twilio, local event providers, school lunch sources, mapping providers, and other vendors. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party data, availability, errors, security incidents, policy changes, rate limits, outages, fees, content, or decisions to suspend or terminate access.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information. It is incorporated into these Terms.
Homeflow and its software, design, interfaces, workflows, documentation, trade names, logos, and other materials are owned by Homeflow or its licensors. Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no rights are transferred to you. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or create derivative works from the Service except as expressly allowed by us in writing.
We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, caused harm, failed to pay applicable fees, or used the Service in a way that may expose us or others to liability. You may stop using the Service at any time.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, reliability, security, uninterrupted operation, or error-free operation.
We do not warrant that household data, AI output, integrations, notifications, photos, receipts, payroll calculations, schedules, school lunch data, local events, weather, maps, or any other information will be accurate, complete, current, available, secure, or fit for your intended use.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Homeflow, its affiliates, owners, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, enhanced, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, loss of goodwill, service interruption, substitute services, personal or household losses, caregiver disputes, employment or tax consequences, safety incidents, missed events, missed communications, AI output, or third-party services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of one hundred dollars ($100) or the amount you paid to Homeflow for the Service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers or liability limits, so some limits may not apply to you. In those cases, liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Homeflow and its affiliates, owners, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from or related to your use of the Service, User Content, connected accounts, household administration, caregiver or employment decisions, payroll or reimbursement records, violation of these Terms, violation of law, or infringement of another person's rights.
Before filing a claim, you agree to first contact us and try to resolve the dispute informally. To the extent permitted by law, any claim must be brought individually and not as a plaintiff or class member in a class, consolidated, collective, or representative action. Claims must be filed within one year after they arise, unless the law requires a longer period.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maine, without regard to conflict of law rules. Subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws that apply, disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cumberland County, Maine, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted with an updated date and, where appropriate, additional notice. Continued use of the Service after updated Terms are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
